Invasive High-Throughput Ultra-Thin Flexible Brain-Computer Interface System Developer

Recently, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology and the National Medical Products Administration jointly announced the list of shortlisted entities for the 2025 Artificial Intelligence Medical Device Innovation Task.The "Implantable Brain-Computer Interface System for Motor Dysfunction" project led by BCIFlex has stood out from over 1,000 applications nationwide and been successfully selected.

Since its initial launch in 2021, the "AI Medical Device Innovation Task Open Challenge" has become a crucial platform for accelerating the deep integration of artificial intelligence technology with medical devices. This edition focuses on three major categories and nine specific directions: intelligent decision-support products, brain-computer hybrid intelligent products, and supporting environments, aiming to solicit and select a batch ofUnits with outstanding innovation capabilities, promoting the innovative development of artificial intelligence medical devices and accelerating the implementation of new technologies and products.

BCIFlex's Independent Innovation System Spans the Entire Chain from Technology to Industry. In terms of technology, the company has already laid out over 40 domestic and international patents in core areas such as flexible electrodes and decoding algorithms; in terms of system, it has built a complete R&D platform from flexible electrodes, hardware, software, decoding algorithms to electrode implantation robots, and self-constructed a clinical-grade micro-nano processing and GMP workshop of approximately 2000 square meters. This comprehensive layout establishes the company’s independently controllable industrialization capabilities in the clinical-grade brain-computer interface field.

This successful selection marks that the innovative achievements and clinical value of BCIFlex have gained recognition from both regulatory authorities and the industry, and it also means that the company's technical strength in the invasive brain-computer interface field has won high recognition at the national level.
