STI Laser Industries, founded in 1998, is an original equipment manufacturer (OEM) specializing in laser cutting and finishing of miniature metal components. The company primarily provides laser processing, Nitinol shaping setup, electropolishing, and cleanroom assembly services to the medical device industry, and has achieved ISO 13485 certification. Currently, STI’s business operations span the globe, with close collaborations established in countries including the United States, China, Japan, and South Korea.

We are delighted to gain access to customers using STI technology, enabling us to better serve the structural heart, neurovascular, and minimally invasive surgery markets,” said Tom Burns, CEO of Resonetics, at a press conference.

Tovy Sivan, President and CEO of STI, stated, “I am proud of the position STI has established in the industry over the past 20 years. I am delighted to join Resonetics; through this partnership, we will provide enhanced services and resources to more leaders in the medical device industry.”
