On October 25, 2018, VCBeat (WeChat ID: VCbeat) learned that SilverVue, a nursing management software company, merged with Mingle Analytics, a Medicare quality reporting consultancy, to form Mingle Health. Mingle Health will leverage the strengths of Mingle Analytics’ CMS (Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services) reporting and SilverVue’s clinic improvement tools to provide physicians with better medical services.

Daniel Mingle, CEO and Founder of Mingle Analytics, has been appointed Executive Chairman of Mingle Health, while Will West, CEO and Founder of SilverVue, will serve as CEO of Mingle Health.

SilverVue is a software company whose flagship product is a tablet application called SilverSearch. Hospital case managers use SilverSearch to access CMS ratings and information on all post-acute care (PAC) providers in the United States, helping patients select post-acute care service providers. Patients can filter their search based on the specific care they require—including long-term acute care hospitals, inpatient rehabilitation facilities, skilled nursing facilities, and home health agencies—as well as by ZIP code or insurance provider.

Mingle Analytics provides a suite of strategic consulting services for healthcare quality reporting, enabling the transformation of clinic reimbursement management, implementing and optimizing Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems, and developing digital tools to enhance medical quality and reduce patient care costs. Mingle Analytics can analyze and review EHR data from various hospitals and medical record management system data from small clinics, ultimately submitting claims to health insurance companies. Statistics show that the success rate of medical bill claims submitted by Mingle Analytics to health insurance companies is as high as 40%.

Mingle Health combines the strengths of two companies, leveraging its unique technology platform to streamline the data engine for value-based care services and simplify key dashboards across modules such as clinical care, treatment, and reporting. Mingle Health offers customized technology products, including: analytics and reporting services that deliver industry-leading Medicare quality reporting through tracking of ACO (Accountable Care Organization) reports under the Medicare Access and CHIP Reauthorization Act (MACRA), encompassing the Merit-based Incentive Payment System (MIPS), Alternative Payment Models (APMs), and Medicare enrollment; Check™, a cloud-based preventive care and disease management toolkit for clinic performance solutions; and SilverSearch™, a care transition solution that manages post-acute care (PAC) referrals and planning for patients, hospitals, and PAC providers. Mingle Health aims to address disparities in Medicare care services caused by the complexity of CMS reporting through its unique technology.

Will West, CEO and Founder of Mingle Health, stated, “No one was willing to partner with small clinics, but what makes the collaboration between Mingle Analytics and SilverVue unique is that it provides small clinics with an unprecedented range of consulting and technical services—services typically accessible only to large healthcare systems. While large healthcare systems can hire consultants and teams of technicians to deliver such services, small clinics have the same needs. Mingle Health’s business is poised for significant growth in the coming years, as we help healthcare providers transition from fee-for-service models to value-based care. By simplifying regulatory compliance and integrating new care workflows, Mingle Health enables healthcare providers to return to their core mission: patient care.”
