Recently, RaysightMed, in collaboration with Southern Medical University, China-Japan Friendship Hospital, Shenzhen Institutes of Advanced Technology (Chinese Academy of Sciences), Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics, and other institutions, jointly applied forNational Key R&D Program"Key Project of 'Engineering Science and Comprehensive Cross-disciplines': Key Technologies and Application Demonstration of Intelligent Cardiopulmonary Dynamics Simulation and Gas Exchange Modeling"The project has been officially approved for establishment.

This milestone achievement marksRaysightMed's independent research and development capabilities in the field of high-end medical simulation equipment have gained national recognition, marking a significant breakthrough for the company in deepening industry-university-research collaborative innovation.。
This project responds to the realistic demands of the rapid development of simulation-based medical education and respiratory and critical care diagnosis and treatment. It aims to address prominent issues such as the current cardiopulmonary biomimetic systems' insufficient ability to simulate the coupling process of "respiration-circulation-blood oxygen-gas exchange" under complex pathological conditions, the difficulty in dynamically and accurately reproducing key physiological indicators, and the "bottleneck" problem of key technologies for domestically produced intelligent high-end simulators.
RaysightMed, with its leading technology and clinical application achievements accumulated over the years in the field of cardiovascular precision interventional diagnosis and treatment, provided key technical support and industrialization experience for the project, including hemodynamic modeling and simulation, simulation algorithms, and artificial intelligence. As one of the co-applicants, Lan Hongzhi, the co-founder and chief scientist of RaysightMed, will be responsible for Project Three among the four projects, actively participating in building a "university-research institute-enterprise" collaborative innovation mechanism.。

Key technologies for domestically-produced intelligent high-end simulators have long faced a "bottleneck" dilemma, with the market being dominated by foreign brands, resulting in almost total reliance on imports in the high-end sector. RaysightMed will leverage China's National Key R&D Program and collaborate with top institutions such as the Shenzhen Institute of Advanced Technology, Chinese Academy of Sciences, to focus on breaking through these technological barriers.
Leveraging self-developed AI and computational fluid dynamics technologies, RaysightMed has launched a fully automatic AI vascular interventional surgery robot. Doctors only need to issue clinical tasks to the robot through voice commands, such as "Xiaorui Xiaorui, deliver the stent to the middle section of the D2 vessel." The robot uses advanced algorithms to convert the command into executable operational goals, which are then carried out by the robotic arm at the execution terminal for automated surgical procedures. The robot not only reduces doctors' radiation exposure and the burden of lead aprons, decreases repetitive labor, but also shortens training cycles, enhances the quality of standardized surgeries, and supports telemedicine.。
RaysightMed continues to invest in the field of medical simulation education equipment, constantly promoting the in-depth cooperation of industry-university-research. The approval of this National Key R&D ProgramThis not only highlights the core role of enterprises in technological innovation but also confirms RaysightMed's strategic direction of adhering to independent research and development and deepening industry collaboration.。
Through the implementation of this project, RaysightMed will further consolidate its leading position in the field of high-end medical simulation equipment, promoting innovation and development across the entire industry.
