Hengrui Medicine Enters into Exclusive Licensing Agreement with Hansoh Pharmaceutical for SHR6508 Project

Yicai Global APP reported that Hengrui Pharma (600276.SH) announced the company has signed an "Exclusive Licensing Agreement" with Hansoh Pharmaceutical Group Company Limited ("Hansoh Pharma"), granting a paid license for the company’s SHR6508 project to Hansoh Pharma. Additionally, the company's subsidiary, Chengdu Shengdi Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. ("Chengdu Shengdi"), signed a "Commercial Service Framework Agreement" with Hansoh Pharma's subsidiary, Jiangsu Hansoh Pharmaceutical Group Co., Ltd. ("Hansoh Pharma"), entrusting Hansoh Pharma to provide non-exclusive commercial services for the company’s Paricalcitol Soft Capsules product.

According to the announcement, SHR6508 is a novel allosteric modulator of the calcium-sensing receptor, intended for the treatment of secondary hyperparathyroidism in adult patients with chronic kidney disease undergoing hemodialysis. It is currently in Phase III clinical trials. The calcium-sensing receptor monitors and regulates calcium levels by releasing parathyroid hormone (PTH), which controls blood calcium levels. Due to increased sensitivity to calcium ions, SHR6508 administration can reduce PTH secretion in hemodialysis patients with secondary hyperparathyroidism. Paricalcitol is a synthetic vitamin D analog that inhibits the secretion of parathyroid hormone (PTH) by binding to the vitamin D receptor, thereby reducing serum PTH levels. The company's Paricalcitol Soft Capsules were approved for marketing by the National Medical Products Administration in November 2025.
