On November 20, Weimai, a local one-stop healthcare service platform, announced the launch of its “Open Healthcare Services Platform,” providing partner enterprises with free access to core local medical service resources. On the same day, the “Online Medical Consultation” feature was launched on the Hangzhou Citizen Card app, a deeply integrated local application. Through this app, over 2 million Hangzhou Citizen Card users can access online consultations and health management services provided by specialist physicians from major provincial and municipal hospitals, thereby meeting their needs for medical advice and diagnosis.

It is reported that the Hangzhou Citizen Card APP, an official application launched by Hangzhou Citizen Card Company, is committed to providing Hangzhou residents with various public services, city-specific applications, and local lifestyle services, boasting over 500,000 monthly active users. The newly launched online medical consultation service is merely one of the foundational features through which Weimai delivers its healthcare capabilities. Additional functions and services, such as “Ask a Doctor” Q&A, daily health news, and health education classes, will be rolled out in phases. Through this collaboration, both parties aim to ultimately make access to medical and health services more convenient and efficient for citizens.

Regarding the implementation of this collaborative project, Di Yu, Product Manager at Weimai, stated: “Our close collaboration with the Hangzhou Citizen Card product R&D team has strengthened Weimai’s open empowerment capabilities, laying a solid foundation for the future delivery of more third-party services.”

As an innovator and leader in China’s third-generation “Internet + Healthcare” platforms, Weimai currently covers 17 provinces, partners with over 70 cities and nearly 500 hospitals, and has more than 50,000 physicians providing services on its platform. Among them, 33,000 are from Grade A tertiary hospitals, and 21,000 are senior experts with associate chief physician titles or above, offering comprehensive coverage across all medical specialties and diseases.

This collaboration with the Hangzhou Citizen Card marks the first step in Weimai’s launch of its “Open Platform for Medical and Health Services” (www.wenjuan.com/s/6bU3Un/). Currently, partners including AliHealth, Baidu, Fengshou Hulian, Yihu Daojia, Lanxi Health, Minsheng Health, and Teddy Bear, as well as regional telecom operators and banks, are either already collaborating or preparing to partner with Weimai. These collaborations aim to achieve medical resource sharing, enhance medical service capabilities, and enable revenue sharing. In the future, Weimai will continue to export its medical and health service capabilities, further empowering partners to expand the service capacity and scope of the collaborative platform. The company strives to deliver its services to more users in need through additional channels, fulfilling its corporate mission of “making medical and health services accessible.”
