Headquartered in Singapore, Tessa is a biotechnology company focused on clinical research and development in cancer treatment, specializing in cellular immunotherapies for cancer. It is a leading developer of personalized T-cell therapies targeting solid tumors. Vineti, a pioneering healthcare informatics company co-founded by GE and the Mayo Clinic, has launched the first commercial cloud platform designed to scale cell and gene therapies.

Under this agreement, Vineti will support Tessa in establishing promotional channels on its cloud platform and provide commercialization support for the latter’s products currently in clinical development. The goal is to promote Tessa’s therapies worldwide in a safe and effective manner, with a focus on providing Tessa with a digital coding platform to track, integrate, and streamline operations involving personalized treatment approaches and complex logistics chains. Vineti has already partnered with 65 major medical centers to provide technical support to healthcare providers and patients. The company is rapidly expanding its markets in Europe and the Asia-Pacific region.

Tessa’s virus-specific T cell (VST) technology has demonstrated compelling efficacy and an excellent safety profile in cancer treatment. The company is currently conducting a multicenter Phase 3 clinical trial for nasopharyngeal carcinoma, as well as Phase 1 trials for cervical cancer and oropharyngeal cancer. The latter are scheduled to advance to Phase 2 clinical development in 2019. Furthermore, Tessa is leveraging its VST platform to develop a series of preclinical therapeutic solutions targeting major cancers, including liver and lung cancer.

Vineti has launched the first cloud-based software platform designed for cell and gene therapies, enabling the scalable integration of patient-specific personalized treatments into mainstream medicine through secure and efficient methods. Its core principle is to coordinate, manage, integrate, and streamline all key steps and stakeholders involved in complex cell and gene therapy processes, thereby optimizing efficiency from biopharmaceutical suppliers to healthcare providers and ultimately enhancing patients’ treatment journeys.
