2018 was a year in which health issues garnered significant attention. Focal topics such as policy dividends, social livelihood, and technological advancements continuously evolved, sparking widespread online discussion around health hotspots. How should the public establish scientifically sound health concepts? How should the media disseminate health values? What kind of ecosystem will emerge in the future of health?
To explore these topics, DXY and Health News jointly hosted the “2019 National Health Development Conference” at the Wuzhou Grand Hotel in Beijing on January 10, 2019. Themed “Healthy China, Better Life,” the conference brought together leading experts, entrepreneurial elites, and prominent media figures to contribute to the nation’s health. Leaders from the organizing institutions will jointly attend the event.
In November 2018, DXY and Health News jointly launched the “Healthy China, Better Life” initiative, conducting a comprehensive survey of tens of thousands of participants on their health behaviors, attitudes, and consumption habits. The survey covered various aspects of daily life, including clothing, food, housing, transportation, medical checkups, healthcare services, and health awareness. At this conference, the White Paper on National Health Literacy 2019, generated from authentic feedback on the health behaviors and attitudes of over 50,000 individuals, will be unveiled. Chu Yang, Vice President of DXY, will deliver a keynote speech and officially release the findings of the white paper. What key health data trends from 2018 have gone unnoticed? This white paper will provide clear and comprehensive insights.
In addition to a compelling review of the 2018 National Health Big Data, the conference will further focus on reviewing national health status and analyzing trends. Fan Zhihong, a council member of the Chinese Nutrition Society and a Ph.D. in Food Science, will provide an in-depth interpretation of the nation’s health status. Distinguished guests, including experts, scholars, media representatives, and corporate leaders, will engage in high-level dialogues and exchanges on the development trends of national health.
The conference also featured prominent industry leaders, including Mao Tianhua, Co-founder of Local Climate; Yuan Hai, Co-founder of Qingteng Culture; Su Yue, Head of the Hunziyue Health and Medical Product Line; and Wang Lu, Editor-in-Chief of DXY.
They will deliver four presentations on viral dissemination strategies and innovative content series, covering topics such as long-form infographics, short videos, engaging comics, and original content, to share in-depth insights into the secrets of creating viral hits and achieving entertaining communication.
Nearly 100 representatives from the media, industry experts, and companies dedicated to health and better living—including witnesses and promoters of the 2018 Health Practices—will jointly participate in discussions on health topics. Prominent figures such as Huang Zhangjin, founder of Daxiang Gonghui; Li Xiaoming, Editor-in-Chief of The Intellectuals; Qian Zhuang, CEO of KnowYourself; Wang Yami, initiator of a public welfare project for perinatal depression; and Bao Yumeng, journalist at The Paper, will engage in roundtable discussions with attendees to explore health-related issues.
In addition, the conference will release the “2018 Internet+ Top 100 Influential Young Doctors” list. Jointly initiated by Health News, DXY, and Dingxiang Doctor, this list aims to provide a broader platform for young doctors across China to showcase their expertise and support the development of their personal brands. Cong Lulu, Chief User Growth Officer at DXY, will announce the list at the event and introduce Dingxiang Doctor’s future plans for talent development and contributing to the Healthy China initiative.
