CAMP4 will receive an upfront payment of $17.5 million (approximately 123 million RMB). Additionally, there is the potential to receive additional payments upon achieving certain R&D and commercial milestones, as well as tiered royalties on future product sales.
On December 12, TaiGen Biopharmaceutical announced an exclusive pipeline out-licensing collaboration with Insilico Medicine. According to the agreement terms, TaiGen Biopharmaceutical will obtain the exclusive rights for development, commercialization, and sublicensing of ISM4808 in Greater China—including mainland China, Hong Kong, Macao, and Taiwan—while Insilico Medicine will receive a return worth tens of millions of US dollars from this deal. ISM4808 is a drug used to treat anemia in patients with chronic kidney disease (CKD), and this collaboration injects new momentum into advancing the subsequent development and market promotion of the drug.
On December 1, Akebia Therapeutics announced the establishment of a rare kidney disease pipeline, with core assets including the acquired complement inhibitor AKB-097 and the existing sGC agonist Praliciguat.
