From February 11 to 15, the 2019 HIMSS Global Conference & Exhibition (hereinafter referred to as HIMSS19) was held in Orlando, Florida, USA. As one of the most influential large-scale exhibitions in the healthcare information technology industry worldwide, it attracted 45,000 attendees, including healthcare IT professionals, clinicians, healthcare administrators, government policymakers, and corporate representatives from more than 90 countries around the globe.

At the HIMSS19 conference, digital health company Vivify Health unveiled its next-generation BYOD remote monitoring technology, which has been successfully integrated into the company’s remote patient management platform, Pathways+Go.

It is reported that Vivify Health’s next-generation BYOD remote monitoring technology can customize clinical algorithms based on patients’ real-time and historical data, guiding them to better manage their health, improve treatment outcomes, and reduce healthcare costs. Additionally, the technology introduces several new features, including easily modifiable care plans, biometric data monitoring, video-based education, and teleconferencing, enabling continuous care services for patients with chronic diseases.

Vivify Health, founded in 2009, is one of the fastest-growing digital health companies in the United States and an innovative leader in internet-based healthcare service delivery solutions. The company provides remote care management services to users through personalized care plans, biometric data monitoring, multi-channel patient education, and attention to each patient’s unique needs.

Pathways+Go, a platform developed by Vivify Health, is the world’s first remote patient management platform that leverages consumer electronics, wireless health devices, and cloud computing to enable “last-mile health.” This platform empowers patients to access medical care services from anywhere via their mobile devices.

It is reported that at least 800 hospitals and health systems in the United States are currently using Pathways+Go to manage patients with chronic diseases. IRB-approved studies have confirmed that after U.S. healthcare systems and organizations adopted this platform, patient readmission rates decreased by more than 65%, while compliance and satisfaction rates exceeded 95%.

Eric Rock, CEO of Vivify Health, stated, “Pathways+Go holds significant importance for clinicians by enabling more effective patient management. The new generation of BYOD remote monitoring technology allows patients and physicians to interact without the need for face-to-face visits; patients can maintain close communication with their doctors simply by entering health data and care needs into their own smart devices.”
