Gelonghui January 6 | Sunnyou (688626.SH) issued an unusual trading announcement, stating that the capital market has recently shown high attention to concepts such as brain engineering and brain-computer interface, with significant increases in the stock prices of related sectors. The company currently focuses on non-invasive brain-computer interface technology, covering a full range of rehabilitation scenarios including occupational therapy, physical therapy, cognitive speech, and swallowing. This approach differs from the current international invasive brain-computer interface technology route. The company's investment in brain-computer interface has formed a certain layout in terms of technology, products, and market channels, but bidding and sales have lagged behind. By the end of 2025, related products have not yet achieved scaled sales, and their revenue contribution remains small.
Sunnyou Medical stated that over 60% of its R&D investment in the first three quarters of 2025 will be directed towards brain-computer interface-related fields. The company has achieved self-research and self-production in this technology, obtaining two registration certificates for electroencephalogram (EEG) machines and portable EEG machines. Sunnyou Medical possesses a relatively comprehensive system of rehabilitation equipment foundations and holistic solutions within the industry, enabling the rapid integration of "brain-computer interface technology + proprietary rehabilitation devices." Its brain-computer interface products have been introduced to more than 500 tertiary Class A hospitals in China, with a target to cover over 1,000 such hospitals by 2026, potentially accelerating product commercialization.
