The funds will be used to enhance UKCloud Health’s cloud technology platform and expand its operational team. The investment was led by Digital Alpha Advisors, a private equity firm with close ties to networking giant Cisco. Cisco’s technology is also widely deployed in UKCloud’s data centers.


Since its establishment in 2011, UKCloud Health has raised a total of £29 million in funding, following the completion of a £4 million angel round in May 2014.

UKCloud Health is a subsidiary of UKCloud, serving the healthcare, life sciences research, and pharmaceutical industries.
