Gene Therapy Drug Developer

On January 7, Anlong announced the completion ofNearly 100 Million B+ Round Financing, this round of financing was led byBeijing Medical and Health Industry Investment Fund and Beijing Shunyi Airport Economic Zone Industry Fund, with funding investments at both the city and district levels. Meanwhile, Anlong Biotech has also partnered withA NASDAQ-listed company in the United StatesAchieveSmall Nucleic Acid DrugsInternational strategic cooperation agreements in the field, with a cooperation scale reachingHundreds of millions of dollars, marking an important breakthrough for Anlong in international BD cooperation.
Previously, Anlong Bio had undergone five rounds of financing, with investment institutions includingCITIC Medical,Tigermed,Haison Capital,Taiyu Investment,Yuanlai Capital, etc.

CurrentlyAnlongFive product lines have established cooperative relationships with listed enterprises at home and abroad. Some of the domestic well-known enterprises that have been announced include Sunshine Nuovo, Salubris, and Kaiin Technology.

For many years, AnlongStrategic expansion achieved on two major technology platforms: AAV gene therapy and siRNA small nucleic acid drugs. In terms of product development progress, Anlong Bio has been continuously advancing multiple product pipelines. Currently, the most advanced is a suprachoroidal gene therapy for wet age-related macular degeneration (wAMD) in ophthalmology.AL-001,Completed Phase II clinical enrollment and was approved to conduct a Phase II clinical trial for the indication of diabetic retinopathy.

In the research and development of small nucleic acid innovative drugs,More than ten pipelines are currently in development,The hepatitis B (HBV) project KW-040, in collaboration with Kain Bioscience, has entered the clinical stage; the product in cooperation with Sunlight R&D has also initiated clinical application.
KW-040 Injection is a siRNA drug developed by KaronTech in collaboration with Anlong for the treatment of chronic hepatitis B, utilizing GalNAc liver-targeted delivery technology for drug delivery.Aiming to efficiently and persistently eliminate hepatitis B surface antigen (HBsAg), hepatitis B e-antigen (HBeAg), and other virus-related proteins by blocking the hepatitis B virus life cycle.. It is currently in the clinical Phase I research stage, July 2025First Public Clinical Trial (Registration NumberCTR20252998)。
Anlong's Small Nucleic AcidsDrug Technology PlatformANOG PlatForm,Able to quickly establish a unique drug screening system, and efficiently develop Best-in-class (or me better) drugs targeting known or novel targets.Currently, multiple animal screening models have been established, including AGT, PCSK9, LPa, C3, TTR, XDH, and HSD17b13, which can rapidly and effectively screen siRNA candidate products in animals.

Anlong Biotech also possesses the Gal-Mola galactose small nucleic acid drug delivery vector. Compared to existing mature delivery vectors on the market (Novartis/Alnylam L96 GalNAc vector), the Gal-Mola vector significantly prolongs the duration of target gene expression inhibition, and this has been validated across multiple targets and sequences. Longer suppression of target expression can reduce the single-dose amount or decrease dosing frequency, achieving semi-annual or even annual dosing. Meanwhile, Anlong Biotech'sOligonucleotide modification technology can significantly enhance the loading efficiency of SiRNA drugs within cells, thereby increasing liver exposure, achieving stronger efficacy, and prolonging the duration of the drug's effect.
