VCBeat (WeChat Official Account: vcbeat) learned from foreign media that on April 9, U.S. local time, clinical data integration company Diameter Health completed a $9.6 million Pre-A financing round. The funds from this round will be used to expand its clinical data integration system to provide high-quality healthcare data.

It is reported that this round of financing was led by Optum Ventures, with participation from Excelerate Health Ventures and LRV Health.

Diameter Health, founded in 2013 and headquartered in Connecticut, currently specializes in healthcare information integration systems. The company will use the proceeds from this financing round to enhance healthcare information interoperability, gather more medical research advancements, and improve the integrated processing of other healthcare data.

Diameter Health has developed a cutting-edge technology called Fusion. Fusion leverages its data integration system to filter clinical data and categorize precise, ready-to-use data for medical teams during research. This technology is certified by the National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA) and the Office of the National Coordinator for Health Information Technology (ONC).

By standardizing clinical data throughout the entire diagnosis and treatment process, Diameter Health makes clinical research and patient care more convenient. For medical teams, this enables the retrieval of all longitudinal information when studying specific diseases, without any irrelevant data interference. This not only reduces the time spent searching for information but also provides medical teams with highly accurate data. For patients, the integrated management of all medical conditions and treatment records facilitates healthcare access, saves time on redundant diagnostics for those requiring cross-regional care, and improves overall healthcare efficiency.

Tripp Peake, Partner at LRV Health, stated, “We are delighted to welcome Optum Ventures to the Diameter Health team. We all recognize that unreliable medical data sources offer no value to clinical research. Diameter Health is filtering and standardizing healthcare information from disparate systems, thereby enhancing the actionability of medical data. We believe that as clinical data becomes more widely applied across the entire healthcare system, market demand will continue to expand.”

Eric Rosow, CEO of Diameter Health, stated, “The market demand for remote interoperability of clinical data is continuously rising. Our partnership with Optum Ventures will accelerate the company’s business expansion, thereby meeting this market demand.”
