MyHealthcare

Digital Convergence Healthcare Technology Platform

VCBeat (WeChat ID: vcbeat) has learned that MyHealthcare, an integrated digital healthcare platform in India, recently announced the completion of its $3 million Series A financing round, with Indian venture capital firm Sixth Sense Ventures as the investor. Previously, the company raised $2 million in 2018 from Hunch Ventures and Ajay Nanavati.

MyHealthcare is a healthcare technology platform whose core product, MyHealthcare SPINE, is an application compliant with the privacy provisions of HIPAA (the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act). It connects the data systems of hospitals and various healthcare providers, providing access to relevant data from Hospital Information Systems (HIS), Electronic Medical Records (EMR), Laboratory Information Systems (LIS), Radiology Information Systems and Picture Archiving and Communication Systems (RIS-PACS), and pharmacy systems. Physicians and nursing staff can use this platform to optimize care workflows and deliver continuous, comprehensive diagnoses. In addition, the application provides patients with real-time vital signs monitoring and emergency rescue services, leveraging machine learning algorithms to analyze health parameters and medical history for predictive insights and alerts.

“More than 30% of India’s population still struggles to access basic healthcare services. The disparity in medical standards between rural and urban areas is evident, with 70% of India’s healthcare infrastructure and specialized medical institutions concentrated in the 20 more developed cities, and over 67% of doctors located in urban centers. We are committed to partnering with high-quality private hospitals by signing digital healthcare service agreements, and collaborating with national and state governments to strive for improved public healthcare standards in primary and secondary schools,” said Shyatto Raha, Founder and CEO of MyHealthcare.

Commenting on the investment in MyHealthcare, Nikhil Vora, Founder and CEO of Sixth Sense Ventures, stated that MyHealthcare is a company catering to future consumers, which aligns perfectly with their investment strategy. A significant amount of capital has already flowed into digital healthcare systems, as investors seek to narrow the gap between India’s healthcare industry chain and that of leading nations. MyHealthcare’s digital healthcare operations enhance the accuracy of healthcare services, improve customer experience, and create greater value.

Karan Pal Singh, Founder of Hunch Ventures, stated, “The healthcare industry is one of the slowest sectors in India to undergo digital transformation. We must deeply integrate digital health and artificial intelligence technologies to ensure that people in remote areas also have access to basic healthcare services. The MyHealthcare platform is precisely positioned, and we believe it can collaborate with medical institutions to establish a data-driven care service ecosystem.”
