April 26, 8:30 a.m., at the Lecture Hall of Zhongcheng Building, Beijing Tiantan Hospital, Capital Medical University.

Chongqing Xishan Technology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “Xishan Technology”) and the Neuroendoscopic Physician Training Academy of the Chinese Medical Doctor Association jointly established China’s first “Minimally Invasive Surgical Technology Research and Application Demonstration Center” (hereinafter referred to as the “Center”), which was officially unveiled at the Neuroendoscopic Physician Training Academy of the Chinese Medical Doctor Association.

This move signifies that China now has its first standardized and specialized training academy in the field of minimally invasive neuroendoscopy, as well as the first professional demonstration center for the research and application of minimally invasive surgical techniques.Attending the unveiling ceremony were Guo Yijun, Chairman of Xishan Technology; Zhang Yazhuo, Dean of the Neuroendoscopy Training College of the Chinese Medical Doctor Association and Director of the Institute of Neurosurgery at Tiantan Hospital.

Although in ChinaThe rapid advancement of neuroendoscopic technology has been accompanied by a shortage of neuroendoscopists, with the current number of specialists failing to meet the actual demands for clinical implementation. Against this backdrop,Led by the Neuroendoscopy Training Academy of the Chinese Medical Doctor Association, ChongqingXishan Technology provides technology and products, and both parties jointly establish the Minimally Invasive Surgery Technology Research and Application Demonstration Center.

“After its establishment, the center will be primarily responsible for organizing and implementing standardized training for neuroendoscopic surgeons across China, establishing a unified standardized training system for neuroendoscopic surgeons. I am also confident that it will play a leading demonstrative role in promoting the application of high-quality domestically produced minimally invasive medical devices,” Zhang Yazhuo told reporters.

“Zhang Yazhuo stated that although China’s neuroendoscopic technology started relatively late, Xishan Technology, as a national-level high-tech enterprise, has made significant progress in the research and development and industrialization of minimally invasive surgical products, such as power systems and endoscopes, after nearly 20 years of accumulation. The company has reached an internationally advanced level, enabling not only import substitution but also granting China the initiative in driving medical technological advancements, which is beneficial to the development of China’s minimally invasive surgical healthcare sector.”

Currently, China needs to further improve its systematic and standardized training system for neuroendoscopic surgeons. The lack of unified training standards has resulted in insufficient guarantees regarding both the quality and quantity of training.

He also mentioned, “XiShan Technology has not only provided us with high-quality domestically produced medical devices, but also offered an integrated minimally invasive solution featuring a ‘power system + endoscope’ combination—a first in history! This will enhance product compatibility and provide trainees with a superior equipment experience.”

While neuroendoscopic techniques have advanced rapidly, standardized training for specialists has not kept pace. Therefore, this center will serve as a strong model and catalyst for the comprehensive advancement of neuroendoscopic technology in China.

“We aim to establish it as a national demonstration center for the dissemination and exchange of neuroendoscopic techniques, to train and cultivate more and better neuroendoscopists across China, and to promote the innovative development of minimally invasive surgical medical devices in our country,” said Zhang Yazhuo.
