At the new product launch event of this year’s CMEF, MinFound Medical Systems unveiled its 512-slice CT scanner for the first time. According to the press conference, the Quantum Eye 512-slice CT is a high-end CT system with fully independent intellectual property rights, listed as a key R&D special project under the Ministry of Science and Technology’s 13th Five-Year Plan. It features an original true spherical wide-body detector, patented in both China and the United States; domestically pioneering, high-performance, novel detector materials; a super “maglev” electromagnetic direct-drive system; a patented, innovative high-stability temperature control system; NDI low-dose imaging; and quantum spectral imaging for comprehensive one-stop cardiac functional imaging.
