Headquartered in Greenville, South Carolina, and led by CEO Jon-Michial Carter, the company has provided care management and compliance programs to more than 100 health systems across the U.S. and has been recognized as one of the ten most innovative companies in the nation.
ChartSpan enhances patient treatment adherence and physician productivity by providing MIPS (Merit-based Incentive Payment System), chronic disease care, and health examination management services, thereby increasing healthcare institutions’ revenue, significantly improving patient outcomes, and promoting the implementation of MIPS.
ChartSpan’s clinicians conduct monthly telephone consultations with high-acuity patients to assess treatment plan adherence, ensure timely medication intake, and identify any issues encountered during the course of therapy. Its platform integrates directly with healthcare institutions’ electronic health record (EHR) systems, automating the management of bidirectional clinical and billing data.
Jon-Michial Carter, CEO of ChartSpan, stated, “Partnering with a group of venture capital firms with extensive experience in the healthcare sector will help us expand our business beyond the Southeastern United States, become a national enterprise, and thereby access a broader healthcare market.”
