(hereinafter referred to as “Lepu Biopharma”) announced the completion of its Series A financing round amounting to RMB 900 million. The round was led by Shiyu Capital, with participation from Suzhou Min Tou, Kaiyuan Guochuang, Suzhou Xinrui, and Lecheng Medical. Listed company Lepu Medical also followed up with additional investment.
This round of financing will be used to advance clinical trials for LEPU BIOPHARMA’s core projects, construct macromolecule production lines, introduce product pipeline assets, and build its talent team.
LEPU BIOPHARMA, established in 2018, focuses on tumor immunotherapy and has built a comprehensive industrial platform encompassing target discovery, drug development, clinical development, and manufacturing. It owns nine subsidiaries, including Houde Aoke, Hanzhong Biopharma, Shanghai Meiyake, and Shanghai Hangjia Incubator. Its core products, including PD-1, PD-L1, oncolytic viruses, and multiple antibody-drug conjugate (ADC) candidates, have entered various stages of Phase I–III clinical trials with outstanding results.
