This acquisitionOnsetIn June 2018, Virtua and the headquarters located inof PennsylvaniaThe Board of Directors of Maxis Health System has signed the definitive agreement to advance this acquisition. Maxis Health is Lourdes's parent company, alsoA subsidiary of Trinity Health. LourdesHealthcare systems includeCamden Medical Center, Burlington Medical Center, Lourdes Medical Associates, and Lourdes Heart Institute. All of these now belong to Virtua.

 

Following consultations with the New Jersey Department of Health, the Office of the Attorney General of New Jersey submitted a recommendation to Superior Court Judge Paula Dow in support of the transaction, which she subsequently approved on June 25, 2019.
