On the afternoon of July 11, the Yantian District Preliminaries of the 11th China Shenzhen Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition, concurrently held with the Semifinals of the 2019 Biomedical Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition, kicked off on the first floor of the Dabaihui Center. A total of 178 projects registered for the competition, breaking records from previous years. After rigorous screening, 45 companies and 22 teams advanced to the semifinals held that day.


The competition adopted a format featuring on-site roadshows, live defenses, and immediate score disclosure, ensuring the fairness, impartiality, and transparency of the scoring results. The judging panel consisted of nine well-known investors and entrepreneurs from the industry, who provided professional insights for both the competition and the participating projects. Professional exchanges between the judges and contestants fostered positive interaction, creating a harmonious and orderly competitive atmosphere.

After fierce competition, six outstanding companies emerged as winners and secured their spots in the finals: Shenzhen Shuaxin Intelligent Electronics Co., Ltd., Shenzhen Zhanxing Biology Co., Ltd., Jiahe Hongsheng (Shenzhen) Health Industry Group Co., Ltd., Xiaobo Health Technology (Shenzhen) Co., Ltd., Shenzhen Yunyi Technology Co., Ltd., and Jingliang Gene Technology (Shenzhen) Co., Ltd.

The team competition was equally thrilling. After three and a half hours of intense rivalry, the team event concluded first, with Tongshu Biology, Zhengu Biology, and Novoheart emerging victorious to secure their spots in the finals.

The competition was meticulously held at the Dabaihui Health Intelligence Valley in Yantian District, a scenic location nestled between mountains and the sea. The entire venue featured “Ocean Blue” as its primary color scheme, highlighting the unique charm of Yantian’s mountain-sea landscape and creating a fresh, romantic ambiance. With comprehensive and clearly marked guide flags and directional signs, contestants could easily navigate the area, immersing themselves in the distinctive atmosphere of the innovation competition while enjoying the beauty of the surrounding mountains and sea.


The promotional display boards, meticulously designed and produced by the organizing committee for the competition and its shortlisted enterprises and teams, form a vast blue ocean. Innovators and entrepreneurs from home and abroad have gathered here, pausing to take photos, exchange ideas, and share experiences. The passion for innovation and entrepreneurship surges within this space, and dreams set sail from here.


Competition Process: Meticulously Designed and Rigorously Organized


The judges selected six finalists from the enterprise category and three from the team category to advance to the final round. The semi-finals laid a solid foundation, greatly boosting the confidence of the finalists.
