In terms of organization and implementation, the “Opinions of the State Council on Implementing the Healthy China Action” point out: At the national level, a Promotion Committee for the Healthy China Action shall be established to formulate and issue the “Healthy China Action (2019–2030),” refine the objectives, indicators, tasks, and division of responsibilities for the aforementioned 15 special actions, coordinate and guide enhanced collaboration among various regions and relevant departments, study comprehensive prevention and control strategies for diseases, and conduct monitoring and assessment. The content of the “Healthy China Action (2019–2030)” shall be revised and improved in a timely manner based on advances in medicine and related technologies.
Recently, the General Office of the State Council issued the "Notice on the Establishment of the Healthy China Action Promotion Committee," announcing the establishment of the Healthy China Action Promotion Committee (hereinafter referred to as the Promotion Committee) to coordinate and advance the organization, implementation, monitoring, and assessment related to the "Healthy China Action (2019–2030)." The Committee will study and deploy key tasks for advancing the action on an annual basis and coordinate and promote the implementation of work by various regions and relevant departments.
