On July 19, 2019, VCBeat (WeChat ID: vcbeat) learned that digital health platform Vine Health announced it had secured £1.2 million in angel-round funding. The round was led by Playfair Capital, with participation from Entrepreneur First, Tiny VC, and other investors. Numerous angel investors, including Simon and Michael Blakey, also took part in the financing.
It is understood that Vine Health will use the funds to develop its platform and recruit key personnel at its headquarters. Vine Health is a digital telehealth platform that leverages behavioral science and AI to improve cancer patient survival rates and address challenges in global cancer care by collecting patient-reported outcomes.
