On July 15, the State Council officially released the “Opinions of the State Council on Implementing the Healthy China Action,” announced the establishment of the Healthy China Action Promotion Committee, and formulated and issued supporting documents such as the “Healthy China Action (2019–2030),” thereby charting a new action blueprint for advancing the construction of Healthy China.

The newly released “Healthy China Action (2019–2030)” outlines the overall goals for the Healthy China initiative by 2022 and 2030, and explicitly specifies 15 special campaigns, including reasonable dietary practices and nationwide fitness programs, once again placing health at the forefront of public attention.

Recently, the internet healthcare company DXY announced the official launch of its “Grassroots Physician Empowerment Initiative.” This initiative will provide targeted support to young physicians in dozens of national-level key impoverished counties and remote areas. By leveraging the advantages of its online platform and integrating resources such as DXY Doctor, DXY Broadcast Cafe, and Medication Assistant, DXY aims to deliver systematic online education services to grassroots physicians, thereby facilitating the sustained and steady improvement of local healthcare standards.

The first stop of the “Primary Care Physician Empowerment Initiative” arrived in Huai’an County, Hebei Province. In response to local healthcare realities, DXY established an online learning platform for local medical professionals—the DXY Public Welfare Academy—offering over 100 hours of professional video content covering common local diseases. Meanwhile, DXY provided local healthcare workers with free access to “Medication Assistant,” an intelligent software tool designed to support clinicians and pharmacists in their daily practice by delivering more authoritative and timely drug information. Furthermore, all 190 village clinics (health stations) across Huai’an County received brochures and posters from DXY featuring daily health education materials and guidance on the prevention and management of cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases.

Liu Guodong, Deputy Director of the Huai’an County Health Commission, stated that Huai’an is located in the northwest of Hebei Province and has a relatively large elderly population, making cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases quite common. Due to practical constraints, there is a strong public demand for health education on these conditions, as well as significant demand among healthcare workers for access to high-quality medical resources. The establishment of a long-term collaborative mechanism with DXY will effectively enhance the professional competencies of young and middle-aged physicians at the primary care level, thereby benefiting the local population.

Mao Weiming, Vice President and Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee at DXY, stated that over the past two decades, the company has accumulated extensive medical and physician resources. Against the backdrop of the comprehensive implementation phase of the Healthy China initiative, DXY has launched the “Grassroots Physician Empowerment Program,” pooling its advantageous resources to contribute modestly to the improvement of primary healthcare standards.

At the event, Dr. He Jiapeng, a cardiologist at Hebei General Hospital, a committee member of the Hebei Provincial Geriatric Diabetes Committee, and a physician affiliated with DXY’s Dingxiang Doctor platform, shared his clinical experience and insights on the treatment of cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases with local healthcare professionals. Dr. He noted that medical practitioners encounter various challenges in their daily work and have diverse learning needs. He encouraged them to fully leverage platform resources such as those offered by DXY to engage in more exchanges, discussions, and collaborative learning with their peers.

The “DXY Primary Care Physician Empowerment Initiative” aims to implement the Healthy China Action by leveraging DXY’s professional expertise and platform advantages, integrating online and offline resources, and focusing on enhancing physicians’ professional competencies in alignment with the work scenarios of primary care providers, thereby supporting the smooth advancement of the Healthy China Action.

Over the past 19 years since its establishment, DXY has adhered to its corporate vision of “More Health, Better Life” and actively engaged in social public welfare and charitable endeavors. In the future, the DXY Primary Care Physician Empowerment Program will continue to advance in multiple regions, including Southwest and Central China, actively implementing the “Healthy China Action” initiative and contributing to the healthy development of rural areas.
