There are currently no other treatment options available for these conditions.
Dr. Peter McWilliams, CEO of Glycomine, stated, “This round of financing will enable us to make significant progress in our clinical development. We are delighted to have the support of such a knowledgeable and experienced investment team, and we thank them for their backing. We will continue to advance this therapy to help patients and families affected by this devastating disease.”
Dr. Kenneth Harrison of Novo Ventures stated, “We believe that Glycomine’s approach can treat many of the severe symptoms of PMM2-CDG.”
Dr. Chris Starr, co-founder of BioMarin Pharmaceutical and Raptor Pharmaceuticals, stated, “This is an exciting time.
