This means that PINGAN GOOD DOCTOR’s Private Doctor service will serve its substantial base of chronic disease patients through collaborations with these chain pharmacies. Meanwhile, the medical resources and service capabilities long accumulated by PINGAN GOOD DOCTOR can help pharmacies enhance their professional service quality and scope, thereby increasing user stickiness.

Private Doctors Officially Launch, Ushering in a New Era of Healthcare

The official launch of PINGAN GOOD DOCTOR’s “Private Doctor” service will significantly elevate industry service standards and user experience, with the potential to revolutionize the current healthcare service model. It aims to truly realize the vision of “high-quality medical and health resources revolving around users,” thereby defining the ultimate landscape of internet-based healthcare services. Meanwhile, this marks PINGAN GOOD DOCTOR’s pioneering transition from free online services to a paid membership model, positioning it one step ahead within the global internet healthcare industry.

Currently, the primary pain points in China’s healthcare sector stem from an imbalance between supply and demand, with healthcare reform focusing on the supply side. To address this, the Chinese government has introduced a series of major policies since 2016 to encourage the application of “Internet+” in healthcare. Against the backdrop of the nation’s continued efforts to advance the Healthy China initiative, promote the development of internet-based healthcare, and foster innovation in family doctor service models, PINGAN GOOD DOCTOR has responded to national policies by launching its “Private Doctor” service, providing innovative internet healthcare solutions to the broad middle-class population.

Wang Tao, Chairman and CEO of PINGAN GOOD DOCTOR, stated, “PINGAN GOOD DOCTOR aims to provide users with comprehensive, high-quality medical and healthcare services through its private doctor services that embody the principles of ‘quality, specialization, speed, management, and protection,’ thereby achieving the goal of serving millions of families and ushering in a new era of private doctors in the ‘Internet + Healthcare’ landscape.”

Behind PINGAN GOOD DOCTOR’s Private Doctor service is an expert team composed of renowned physicians from the top 100 well-known hospitals across China. Additionally, PINGAN GOOD DOCTOR has established in-depth collaborations with 800 Grade A tertiary hospitals in China, 1,000 overseas renowned physicians, and the world’s top 10 leading hospitals, ensuring that users can enjoy more convenient and precise medical care arrangements worldwide through the “Private Doctor” service.

Leveraging the extensive medical resources accumulated by PINGAN GOOD DOCTOR over the years, the “Private Doctor” service not only provides basic services such as online consultation, daily health management, and hospital appointment scheduling, but also offers comprehensive, one-stop, high-quality healthcare services, including 24/7 continuous care, second-level response from doctors, one-hour medication delivery, and in-person accompaniment at Tier-3 Grade-A hospitals. Furthermore, PINGAN GOOD DOCTOR has established partnerships with nearly 2,000 physical examination and testing centers to provide each user with personalized electronic health records and customized annual health management services on a one-on-one basis, facilitating end-to-end health oversight. Meanwhile, PINGAN GOOD DOCTOR · Private Doctor collaborates with third-party insurance companies to offer users substantial coverage that breaks through age and pre-existing condition restrictions, providing financial support for medical treatment to patients with critical illnesses.

Through its innovative “Private Doctor” service model, PINGAN GOOD DOCTOR enables comprehensive interaction between doctors and users. This allows doctors to continuously monitor users’ health status, fostering a close, acquaintance-like bond and building deep mutual trust. Within this new paradigm of familiar relationships, users receive more precise, consistent, and personalized healthcare services, thoroughly breaking down the cold, impersonal dynamics characteristic of traditional medical care.

Signed with 29 Industry Giants to Empower Pharmacies in Perfecting the Closed-Loop Medical Service System

In recent years, public health awareness and the demand for personalized, high-quality medical and healthcare services have continued to rise. Coinciding with the launch of its “Private Doctor” service, PINGAN GOOD DOCTOR held signing ceremonies with 29 industry giants, including China Mobile Internet, Beijing Automotive Group, and China CITIC Bank. The 29 companies involved in this agreement span multiple sectors, such as banking, insurance, automotive, telecommunications, maternal and infant care, and pharmaceutical retail. Among them are 12 large pharmacy chains: Baijiahui Suhe, Chengda Fangyuan, Guoda Pharmacy, Henan Zhang Zhongjing, Neptune Star, Qingdao Yibaocheng, Shandong Jintong, Shanxi Wanmin, Shaanxi Zhongxin, Yixintang Pharmaceutical, Yifeng Pharmacy, and Yikang Pharmacy.

In January this year, PINGAN GOOD DOCTOR officially announced its “4+1” strategy, comprising Hospital Cloud, Pharmacy Cloud, Clinic Cloud, Village Doctor Cloud, and internationalization. Pharmacy Cloud empowers pharmacies through an innovative service model of “Internet healthcare + pharmacies,” fostering a new retail format and establishing a closed-loop medical service ecosystem of “online consultations and offline medication purchases,” thereby transforming pharmacies into healthcare consultation venues. By the end of the reporting period for PINGAN GOOD DOCTOR’s interim report, more than 32,000 new-retail pharmacies had been integrated into its suite of healthcare services, including online consultations and one-hour medication delivery.

Through this agreement, PINGAN GOOD DOCTOR will collaborate with its partners to achieve cross-industry integration and jointly build a comprehensive health ecosystem. In the future, users of these partner companies will be able to access all-around, high-quality, one-stop medical and healthcare services provided by PINGAN GOOD DOCTOR’s “Private Doctor” service. Meanwhile, leveraging this deeper and broader collaboration, PINGAN GOOD DOCTOR will significantly expand its multi-channel development beyond its existing partnerships with third-party commercial insurance companies and financial institutions, by introducing “Private Doctor,” a new strategic-level product.

Wang Tao, Chairman and CEO of PINGAN GOOD DOCTOR, stated, “We aim to realize our company’s vision through our Private Doctor service: ensuring every household has a family doctor, every individual has an electronic health record, and every person has a personalized health management plan.” Indeed, as an innovative manifestation of the development of China’s family doctor model, PINGAN GOOD DOCTOR’s Private Doctor service is gradually establishing physician-patient relationships built on trust, professionalism, and long-term engagement. This initiative is leading the industry into the era of private doctors, thereby contributing to the formation of a Chinese model for healthcare innovation.
