Today, HealthVault is a cloud-based platform designed to empower individuals to control their health data by helping them collect, store, and share their medical information. The platform also connects with various third-party applications and devices to assist users in managing fitness, dietary, and overall health data.
“Data will become the new currency in healthcare. Organizations that create value through secure storage, clinical interpretation, and seamless data exchange between patients and providers are emerging as new leaders. Microsoft is well-positioned to take a leadership role in this area. I am honored to be part of the team building and growing this business,” said David Rhew, Chief Medical Officer at Microsoft Global.
“With innovations in cloud technology, artificial intelligence, and other technologies driving greater efficiency in healthcare and continuously enabling the discovery of new scientific and technological advances, the healthcare industry is undergoing an exciting transformation. As part of this transformation, Microsoft must support our customers and partners, and we need to continue recruiting experts in this field who understand the challenges of healthcare delivery and operations across both the physical and digital domains,” said Deb Cupp, Corporate Vice President at Microsoft.
