Yanda Hospital and Chunyu Doctor Launch Internet Hospital with CEO Wang Yuxiao in Attendance
On September 3, the launch ceremony for the construction of Hebei Yanda Hospital’s Internet Hospital was held in Hebei Province. This event marks a further upgrade in the collaboration between Yanda Hospital and Chunyu Doctor, officially ushering Hebei Yanda Hospital into the “Internet Hospital Era.”
In September 2017, the “Yanda Hospital Internet Diagnosis and Treatment Platform,” jointly developed by Yanda Hospital and Chunyu Doctor, was officially launched. Centered on Hebei Yanda Hospital’s existing operations and leveraging Chunyu Doctor’s robust technical and operational capabilities, the platform aims to create a hospital internet operation project that achieves seamless interconnectivity among the hospital’s internal information systems, internet healthcare operational service systems, and external service systems. It also provides integrated online and offline services, including patient follow-up, telemedicine, chronic disease management, and family doctor contracting, becoming Hebei Province’s first convenient medical service platform to digitize the entire patient care journey.
Over the past two years, the platform has achieved significant improvements in core metrics, including the number of users served and repeat consultation patients, through precise online customer acquisition and effective offline user conversion. By deeply integrating with hospital internal data, the platform has realized the online migration of the entire medical consultation process, the digitization of clinical data, and the standardization of patient management. This has effectively optimized the healthcare journey, substantially enhancing patient experience and satisfaction.
In 2018, the Hebei Yanda Internet Diagnosis and Treatment Platform also won the Excellence Award for the Best ICT Innovation Project at the Asian Hospital Management Awards (China), making it the only internet platform among the awardees that year.
With the promulgation of policy documents such as the “Administrative Measures for Internet-Based Diagnosis and Treatment (Trial),” the “Administrative Measures for Internet Hospitals (Trial),” and the “Detailed Implementation Rules for the Administrative Measures for Internet Hospitals in Hebei Province (Trial),” the development of internet hospitals has officially entered a phase of compliant and orderly growth. The Yanda Internet Diagnosis and Treatment Platform has finally seized this opportunity and is poised to become one of the first batch of internet hospitals in Hebei Province.
The strategic upgrade of the internet diagnosis and treatment platform to Yanda Chunyu Internet Hospital will further expand the service scope of the original platform. Yanda Hospital and Chunyu Doctor will join hands for long-term cooperation, further innovate the “Yanda + Chunyu” service model, establish a benchmark for “Internet + Medical Health” services, and provide higher-quality and more efficient medical services to residents in the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region.
