On September 20, 2019, VCBeat (WeChat ID: vcbeat) learned from foreign media reports that NexHealth, a patient experience management platform, had completed a $4.2 million financing round. The round was led by Point Nine Capital, with participation from Rubicon Venture Capital, Scott Belsky, Josh Hannah, and existing investor iSeed Ventures.

NexHealth plans to use the funds from this round of financing to open an office in San Francisco, USA, improve its five-star rating product, and promote product innovation.

NexHealth is the first patient experience management platform authorized to enable physicians to conduct their practices online. Through NexHealth, physicians can deliver end-to-end patient experiences, featuring key functionalities such as real-time online scheduling, billing via text/email, automated reminders, recall campaigns, two-way messaging, and review management. NexHealth empowers physicians to engage directly with consumers, providing the seamless and modern experience that patients expect. Since its launch in 2017, the company has onboarded thousands of physicians and serves over 4 million patients each month.

Christoph Janz, Co-Founder of Point Nine Capital, stated, “Alamin and his team at NexHealth have built one of the most innovative products on the market, and we are excited to collaborate with the NexHealth team.”

“NexHealth’s mission is to modernize the way people connect with doctors while enabling physicians to run their practices more effectively,” said Alamin Uddin, Co-Founder and CEO of NexHealth. “We partner with leading providers across the United States and Canada to deliver superior services to our customers.”
