Tianyi Health Industrial Park Files IPO Prospectus to Advance 'Government-User-Industry-Academia-Research' Ecosystem in Qianwan New Area

On July 9, 2019, the establishment of Qianwan New Area was officially approved.

The Qianwan New Area covers a total area of 604 square kilometers, encompassing the current Ningbo Hangzhou Bay Industrial Agglomeration Zone and the adjacent Yuyao and Cixi areas. Life and health is a key leading industry prioritized for development in the Qianwan New Area.

As the geometric center of Shanghai, Hangzhou, and Ningbo, Qianwan New Area has established an efficient, multi-dimensional transportation network that enables 30-minute access to downtown Ningbo, Hangzhou, and Shanghai. This infrastructure has fostered a development model characterized by “multi-dimensional connectivity plus the clustering of leading enterprises,” positioning the area as a pioneer in the integrated development of the Yangtze River Delta and the primary destination for the relocation of the region’s life and health industries.

On the morning of the 25th, the Tianyi (Cixi) Health Industrial Park, a flagship project meticulously developed by Tianyi Group in the core area of Qianwan New Area, held its grand groundbreaking ceremony in the Cixi High-Tech Development Zone. This marks another major project landing in the 1.47-square-kilometer life and health industry base in Qianwan New Area.

Located in the core area of the Cixi Zone (currently the Cixi High-Tech Development Zone) within the Qianwan New Area, Tianyi Health Industrial Park is bordered by Gaoke Avenue to the west and the North Outer Ring Urban Expressway to the north. Situated just 4 kilometers from the planned high-speed railway station, it serves as a strategic gateway for the integrated development of the Yangtze River Delta and the primary destination for the relocation of the medical and health industries.

Leveraging Tianyi Group’s comprehensive industrial ecosystem, which integrates R&D, investment incubation, industrial commercialization, health management, and medical services, and building upon the precise traffic, medical infrastructure, and channel influence of China’s largest health checkup platform, we provide park-based enterprises with one-stop services including registration and approval, financial services, technical support, R&D innovation, entrepreneurship support, children’s education, and public service technology platforms. It is reported that Tianyi Group has signed a strategic cooperation framework agreement with Zhongke Health Industry (Beijing) Co., Ltd. (“Zhongke Health”), an innovative enterprise in the healthcare sector under China Science Holdings Co., Ltd. Leveraging the core strengths of Tianyi Group and Zhongke Health’s shareholders—CAS Innovation Investment Co., Ltd. and China Investment & Finance Fund Management Co., Ltd.—in technological innovation, achievement commercialization, and industrial funds, both parties plan to engage in comprehensive, multi-level collaboration in the Qianwan New Area. This collaboration will encompass initiatives such as a Big Health Industry Investment Fund, a Big Health Industry Innovation and Commercialization Research Institute, and a Life and Health Town.

Meanwhile, CapitalBio Group, a strategic partner of Tianyi Group and the core enterprise of the Beijing National Engineering Research Center for Biochips—Beijing CapitalBio Jingdian Biotechnology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “CapitalBio Jingdian”)—signed a strategic cooperation framework agreement with the Administrative Committee of Cixi High-Tech Industrial Development Zone. The two parties agreed to take the lead in advancing people’s livelihood and health industry initiatives in Cixi High-Tech Zone, focusing on two key areas: the smart integrated traditional Chinese and Western medicine chronic disease prevention and control system, and the birth defect prevention and control system, thereby supporting Cixi City in building its “Health Card.”

With the establishment of the Tianyi (Cixi) Health Industrial Park project and the subsequent implementation of a comprehensive package of related initiatives, the life and health industry in Qianwan New Area will undoubtedly experience rapid and robust growth, creating a complete “government-application-industry-academia-research” closed loop for the big health sector. This will empower Qianwan New Area to build an innovation hub for the medical and health industry with global influence, a major platform for the integrated development of the Yangtze River Delta, and a future city characterized by the deep integration of the big health industry and urban development.
