Carestream Dental and Straumann Announce Strategic Partnership to Deliver Integrated Digital Dentistry Solutions

On October 12, 2019, Carestream Dental, a global leader in dental digitalization, and Straumann, a global leader in aesthetic dentistry solutions, announced a strategic partnership. The partnership includes a strategic cooperation and long-term distribution agreement between Carestream Dental and the Straumann Group for the Carestream Dental CS3600 intraoral scanner in China. The co-branded, customized CS3600 intraoral scanner has recently been launched on the market.

Meanwhile, this intraoral scanner will obtain certification for multiple software platforms from Straumann, enabling the integration of dental data to create a comprehensive digital one-stop solution, thereby providing dentists with a precise, complete, and convenient service experience.

Carestream Dental is a leading global brand in dental imaging equipment and practice management software. Originally part of the Eastman Kodak Company’s Health Group, which was renamed Carestream Health in 2007, Carestream Dental was spun off as an independent entity in 2017 to focus on digital dentistry solutions.
