On October 21, the launch ceremony for the “Easy Care, Benefit Life e-Health” Chronic Disease Management Alliance was held in Beijing. Zhang Ke, CEO of Qingsong Group; Zhong Cheng, Co-CEO; Li Jing, Chairman of Zhonghui Property Mutual Insurance Society; Mao Weiming, Vice President of DXY; Wu Han, Chairman of Sinohealth Information; Lin Lin, COO and Senior Vice President of Meinian Onehealth Healthcare; along with hundreds of industry leaders and media journalists, gathered to witness the establishment of the world’s first chronic disease management alliance.
The launch event also introduced the “Huixiang Yisheng Zhonghui Million Medical Insurance” product, which is available to individuals with the “three highs” (hypertension, hyperglycemia, and hyperlipidemia) as well as hepatitis B carriers. DXY will provide health information and related health services to its policyholders, and link offline pharmacies through its pharmacy service management system to offer online consultation and medication purchasing services. At the event, the Chronic Disease Management Alliance announced the launch of the “Chronic Disease Patient Care Program,” which will provide 1,000 insurance policies to eligible chronic disease patients, helping them secure health protection.
The Chronic Disease Management Alliance was jointly initiated by Qingsong Group, DXY, Zhonghui Mutual Insurance Society, Sinohealth Information, and Meinian Onehealth Healthcare. The alliance aims to integrate and leverage the strengths and resources of health protection platforms, insurance companies, offline pharmacies, and other institutions to promote the concepts and professional knowledge of chronic disease management. By covering the spectrum from prevention to treatment and from popularizing professional knowledge to providing comprehensive solutions, the alliance seeks to deliver more professional and holistic health protection for users, thereby contributing to the Healthy China initiative.
As a leading connector in China’s healthcare sector and a provider of professional digital services, DXY has long explored the integrated model of “Internet + Chronic Disease Management.” Chronic disease management should constitute a closed-loop process—a complete experience characterized by continuous, real-time, knowledge-based, long-term intervention and guidance. This cycle spans from patient education to intermediary doctor-patient communication, followed by face-to-face clinical consultations, and ultimately returns to the stages of education, intervention, and guidance post-treatment. Therefore, DXY has been committed to leveraging precise data to drive chronic disease management services, ranging from online information interactions via teleconsultations, to precise blood glucose management at the Diabetes Care Center, and further to comprehensive, multi-dimensional services offered at offline DXY Clinics.
Insurance products covering the “three highs” (hypertension, hyperglycemia, and hyperlipidemia) and hepatitis B are merely the starting point for the establishment of the “Chronic Disease Management Alliance.” The burden of chronic conditions—such as cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases, diabetes, oral diseases, as well as kidney and neurological disorders—has made chronic disease management an urgent health challenge for the Chinese population. As a member of the “Chronic Disease Management Alliance,” DXY will intensify its efforts in medical science popularization and health management, helping more people shift their mindset from treatment to prevention, providing broader access to professional medical knowledge and services, supporting nationwide health management, and ultimately promoting greater health and better quality of life!
