Novartis to Host Digital Healthcare Innovation Startup Roadshow in Beijing

According to the “Healthy China 2030” Plan, the scale of China’s healthcare industry will reach RMB 16 trillion by 2030, becoming a key pillar of the national economy. The Chinese healthcare sector is undergoing profound transformation, presenting significant opportunities as well as substantial challenges.

To drive further transformation in China’s pharmaceutical and healthcare industry, Novartis (China) will co-host the Novartis Digital Innovation Roadshow on November 12 with Zhongguancun Startup Street, universities, investment institutions, and startups. Together, we will explore new frontiers in healthcare through innovation and discuss the latest developments in digital health. You are cordially invited to witness this event!

Ten healthcare and medical startups from Beijing will have the opportunity to present their products and services to a panel of judges comprising local investors, successful Chinese entrepreneurs, university professors, healthcare professionals, and Novartis employees from China, Europe, and the United States.

Participating startups will showcase their achievements across various themes. These innovations aim to address China’s healthcare challenges, such as access to high-quality medicines, standards of care, patient affordability, disease awareness, and diagnostic quality, with the ultimate goal of improving patient care.

The impact of these digital solutions will extend far beyond the healthcare system, generating positive effects across many industries.

Industry experts from Tencent, Tsinghua University, and Infervision will deliver five presentations on digital healthcare, analyzing development trends from multiple perspectives—including investment, entrepreneurship, and business—through cross-disciplinary dialogue, to provide insights into the future.
