The establishment of this alliance signifies that the cardiovascular field in Guangdong Province will welcome a closer collaborative network and a more efficient resource integration mechanism, laying the foundation for the subsequent integrated development of medical and engineering fields.

Coronary microvascular disease (CMVD) affects a wide range of people, and in the past, simply assessing the degree of epicardial coronary artery stenosis had limitations. The diagnosis of coronary microcirculation disease is a major pain point in clinical practice, as imaging cannot directly observe microvascular lesions. AndIMR, as an index for microcirculation function measurement, can identify coronary microvascular dysfunction (CMD) and reflect real-time resistance changes of microcirculation under physiological or pathological conditions, making up for the shortcomings of traditional anatomical assessment.At the same time, IMR is not affected by hemodynamics and can specifically evaluate the microvascular function distal to the stenotic lesion, making it a more direct indicator for assessing microcirculatory function.
