VCBeat (WeChat ID: vcbeat) has learned that on November 19, 2019, Indian healthcare platform Cure.fit announced the completion of a D1 financing round amounting to 34.3 million rupees (approximately $470,000). This round was initiated by the FPGA Family Foundation. According to Cure.fit’s filing dated October 29, the company issued Series D1-A shares to family-owned enterprises at a premium of 218.86 rupees per share.

Previously, the company raised $120 million in its Series D financing round, led by investors including Epiq Capital, Unilever Ventures, and Innoven Capital, with the round closing in June 2019. To date, the company has raised over $324 million in funding.

Cure.fit, founded in 2016, is an Indian health and fitness startup headquartered in Bengaluru, Karnataka. Cure.fit offers online and offline experience services related to fitness, nutrition, and mental health, providing comprehensive health protection for users. Users can access online services by downloading the company’s Curry.fit app on their mobile phones. The two co-founders of the company are Mukesh Bansal, former CEO of Myntra, and Ankit Nagori, a former executive at Flipkart.

As a health services startup, Cure.fit combines engagement, guidance, and delivery through online and offline channels to provide consumers with end-to-end proactive health management. Since its inception, the company has acquired four food and fitness startups. These include the Bangalore-based 1000 Yoga Studio and healthy food delivery platform Kristy’s Kitchen, acquired in 2017, as well as the mental health platform Seraniti and the Fitness First gym chain, acquired in 2018.

Cure.fit operates three platforms—eat.fit, cult.fit, and mind.fit—each responsible for distinct segments and focusing on three core functionalities. eat.fit is a user subscription platform through which users can subscribe to healthy and delicious meals. The meals offered on the platform are prepared with fresh ingredients and balanced combinations, delivering high nutritional value. Users can choose from various cooking methods based on their individual needs.

To make fitness easy and enjoyable, Cure.fit has redefined exercise through a series of instructor-led group fitness classes. The cult.fit video coaching team comprises world-class fitness trainers and athletes, allowing users to follow along and work out at home by watching videos. Additionally, cult.fit operates offline gyms.

Mind.fit features professionally designed curricula and offers services such as yoga, meditation, music, and therapeutic sessions to help users enhance focus, alleviate stress and anxiety, and improve sleep quality, thereby promoting their mental well-being.

According to a statement released by the company in August, Cure.fit currently operates 180 cult.fit fitness centers and 35 mind.fit

center. Furthermore, in 2018, Cure.fit entered the fields of medical diagnostics and physician consultation services through its clinics under the care.fit brand.
