Weimai

Digital Health Service Platform Provider

In October 2017, the internet healthcare platform Weimai partnered with hospitals to jointly launch the “Integrated Maternity Care” service, dedicated to providing expectant mothers with a more comfortable maternity experience in public hospitals than that offered by private hospitals.

Since the service was launched, over 2,000 expectant mothers have become members of Weimai’s “Mommy Good Pregnancy” Club, gaining early access to this service. Based on a survey of more than 500 club-member and non-member expectant mothers, we have compiled this report on the prenatal checkup experience of pregnant women.

Since 2017, Weimai has been strategically positioning itself in the “Internet + Maternity Care Services” sector. After two years of updates and iterations, Weimai, focusing primarily on third- and fourth-tier cities as its key markets, is building its market influence by leveraging the advantages of its localized healthcare service platform entry point and delivering high-quality in-hospital prenatal care products that tangibly address pregnant women’s needs.

It is not only about providing quality medical care, but also about delivering more humanized services. As Weimai leverages emerging technologies and tools such as the internet to create value for pregnant and postpartum women and related departments, its current service practices may offer valuable insights for developing more meaningful “Internet + Healthcare” services.
