AlayaCare Acquires Procura to Enhance Care Solutions and Expand Global Market Reach

VCBeat (WeChat ID: vcbeat) learned via Business Wire that on January 3, 2020, Canadian home care software company AlayaCare announced the strategic acquisition of care services company Procura. The specific acquisition amount was not disclosed.


Procura is a global leader in providing software and solutions for community, aged, and disability care. Founded in 1989 and headquartered in Victoria, Canada, the company primarily serves countries including the United States, Canada, and Australia. It maintains offices in Chicago, Illinois; Boca Raton, Florida; Sydney, New South Wales; Melbourne, Victoria; and Brisbane. Procura is a subsidiary of the U.S.-based care supply company Complia Health.


Since its inception, Procura has been dedicated to establishing cloud-based care solutions, with its business scope spanning all care touchpoints in the elderly, community, and disability sectors. The company states that its services effectively enhance operational efficiency, coordinate clinical care delivery, and provide customers with high-quality care at a low cost. To date, Procura serves over 2,300 client sites and manages 45,000 beds daily.


Following the completion of this acquisition, AlayaCare plans to leverage Procura’s globally leading solutions to expand its service platform, with a commitment to delivering an enhanced care experience for clients. In addition, AlayaCare will utilize this acquisition to broaden its market reach and further strengthen its care solutions in the Australian and New Zealand markets.
