Evive Acquires WiserTogether to Enhance Digital Treatment Guidance Services

Evive aims to enhance its existing online treatment guidance tools through this acquisition, thereby providing higher-quality services to patients.

Wiser, founded on February 13, 2008, and headquartered in the District of Columbia, USA, is a medical information technology company dedicated to providing patients with personalized and effective treatment options. The company has developed personalized healthcare software that enables users to obtain the most suitable and effective treatment plans at the lowest cost. To date, it has served more than 3 million people.

Return to Health is Wiser’s flagship product. It features a leading clinical guideline database that seamlessly integrates existing health solutions and fills gaps in care through Practical Clinical Guidelines, thereby meeting users’ comprehensive healthcare needs. Whether purchasing prescription medications for self-care or scheduling appointments with healthcare providers for treatment and health services, the platform rapidly addresses customer needs. Additionally, the platform offers mobile applications for iOS and Android devices to accommodate user preferences and employs encryption technology to safeguard customer information.

Following the completion of this acquisition, Evive’s new online therapeutic guidance tool will incorporate intelligent context-awareness features. By leveraging users’ symptoms, medical history, and prior healthcare utilization data, the tool will guide individuals toward the most recommended and effective treatments. Users can access patient and physician ratings, estimated costs, and the clinical evidence underpinning each treatment plan, thereby enabling personalized care tailored to individual circumstances.

Prior to its acquisition, Wiser completed seven rounds of financing, raising a total of $21.9 million. The latest round, amounting to $2.5 million, was closed on May 8, 2016; other specific details were not disclosed.
