Athenex Biologics Appoints Dr. David Gu as Chief Financial Officer Amid Hong Kong IPO Filing

EpimAb Biotherapeutics today announced the appointment of Dr. David Gu as Chief Financial Officer, joining the EpimAb leadership team composed of CEO Dr. Chenbing Wu, COO and CBO Dr. Stephan Lensky, and CMO Dr. Bin Peng. Prior to joining EpimAb Biotherapeutics, Dr. Gu oversaw Millennium Management’s investments in global pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies.

Prior to joining Millennium Management, Dr. Xin Yi Gu served as a Vice President and Global Pharmaceutical Equity Research Analyst at Jefferies LLC, where he covered initial and secondary public offerings of major global pharmaceutical companies across multiple therapeutic areas and advised clients on financial strategy and business development. Before joining Jefferies, he was a management consultant at McKinsey & Company and held a research position at Wells Fargo Securities. Dr. Gu holds a Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) degree from the University of Michigan and graduated with high honors from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign with a Bachelor’s degree in Biochemistry.
