The surgery was successfully led by Professor Luigi Salemme, with the left atrial appendage closure device remaining stable post-operation and no other complications reported. Professor Luigi Salemme highly praised the quality, performance, and clinical outcomes of the device, expressing hope that this product will offer a better treatment option for more atrial fibrillation patients in Europe.

Case Sharing

This patient is an elderly male with paroxysmal atrial fibrillation, posing a high risk of stroke and bleeding. Preoperative transesophageal echocardiography indicated no thrombus in the left atrium and left atrial appendage.
