Hello, friends! On this early weekend morning, we publish this article as both a summary and an expression of gratitude.
The first phase of the Financing Accelerator Camp was planned over 17 days, with the curriculum team dedicating 40+ hours to lesson preparation, designing seven sessions, and allocating promotional resources valued at over RMB 400,000 at market rates.
From March 4 to March 27, spanning 24 days from inception to the conclusion of instruction, 44 students were enrolled, with 39 completing the course. There were 790 live-stream discussion sessions, averaging 107 minutes of actual instruction per session. Over the past six years, as observers and chroniclers of medical innovation, we have witnessed the emergence of one enterprise after another—some preparing to set sail, others thriving, and still others having already gone public. China’s healthcare industry is ushering in a golden age.
The healthcare industry is a “slow” and “capital-intensive” sector, characterized by higher barriers to entry as well as greater opportunities and challenges.
The “heaviness” of the healthcare industry lies not only in the substantial capital investment but also in the weight of responsibility. Unlike the consumer sector,Behind every order in the healthcare industry, there is ultimately more or less a connection to a “patient.”
Perhaps “he” inadvertently catches a cold, experiencing headache and cough;
Perhaps “she” suffered bodily harm due to an accident, making it impossible for her to return to the normal life trajectory;
Perhaps “he” is lying in a hospital bed, on the verge of death and in urgent need of rescue...
Healthcare is very "heavy."
VCBeat is positioned as a future healthcare service platform. Thanks to our years of consistent research and dedication, we have gained recognition and support from many peers, gradually building influence and the capacity to integrate industry resources. However, we are also acutely aware of the responsibility on our shoulders—a responsibility that grows increasingly “weighty” as our influence expands.
Whenever I witness the founding of a healthcare enterprise, I am filled with mixed and complex emotions: I am delighted that another force has joined the journey of medical innovation, yet I also feel apprehensive about the uncertainties that such change may bring, stemming from my lack of full understanding.
If the leading enterprise in an industry loses its sense of justice, it will undoubtedly be a disaster.
Entrepreneurship is an arduous endeavor, a path fraught with “thorns” and “quagmires.” The development of an enterprise is a process of value creation through continuous technological innovation, self-reinvention, talent cultivation, and service to society. Enterprises face many ceilings—technological bottlenecks, market resource constraints, and business model dilemmas, among others—but the core issue invariably revolves around people—The founder is the ceiling of the enterprise.
The curriculum and modules of the Financing Accelerator Camp cover cognition, knowledge, skills, and tangible financing resources. We are confident in delivering the highest quality in these areas, and feedback from participants in this cohort has confirmed that we have indeed achieved this standard.
But there is one thing that education cannot resolve, which isSense of Responsibility.
Dear Students,Below is the final “assignment.” Please complete it and submit it to yourself:
Perhaps you are just ordinary,
Perhaps you have transitioned into this industry from another field,
Perhaps you return, well-versed and learned,
Perhaps you have been immersed in the healthcare industry for many years,
No matter who you are, what you possess, what you have experienced, or where you are headed, I wish to impart this sense of responsibility to you, my fellow travelers on the path of healthcare entrepreneurship. May you never forget your original aspirations; may you leverage your expertise and all that you have mastered to deeply love this country and this industry; may you respect every client and care for every “patient”; and may you one day realize the dream held in your heart.
We will always be here, observing, recording, and helping.
