Apr 01, 2020 11:56 CST Updated 11:56

The COVID-19 pandemic has touched the hearts of the entire Chinese nation. By mobilizing nationwide resources and uniting as one, we have fully upheld the fine traditions and virtues of the Chinese people, overcome countless difficulties, achieved remarkable results, and demonstrated China’s sense of responsibility to the world before the global community.

This epidemic has once again underscored the critical importance of public health! The experience and lessons we have gained will undoubtedly make significant contributions to sustainable development in China and around the world. How can we rapidly synthesize and disseminate these insights? How can we offer constructive recommendations from the perspectives of societal and population health development? How can we integrate these lessons into future national governance and the daily practices of every healthcare professional, thereby effectively promoting the healthy and civilized development of the nation and society? Guided by these considerations, the China Physicians’ Public Welfare Conference has launched the “Healthy China International Public Health Management Training Program” as part of its series of conference activities. By combining practical experience from the fight against the COVID-19 pandemic with theoretical knowledge in international public health management, this program aims to enhance the public health awareness and skills of healthcare administrators and medical professionals, thereby facilitating the development of social public health management systems.

Additionally, online seminars will be held after each module, inviting renowned domestic and international experts to engage in intellectual exchanges and cutting-edge discussions on relevant topics. These sessions aim to provide frontline clinical healthcare professionals and medical administrators with international and forward-looking references.
