Benefiting from the influence of “Digital China,” the Smart Healthcare Track of the 2020 Digital China Innovation Competition, concurrently held as the 4th Smart Healthcare Innovation Competition, has continuously expanded its reach since its launch. It has established sub-competition zones in more than 20 provinces, autonomous regions, and municipalities directly under the Central Government—including Fujian, Hunan, Hubei, Shanghai, Guangdong, Shenzhen, Yunnan, and Shaanxi—radiating from these hubs to all parts of China, even reaching the “Roof of the World,” the nation’s highest and most remote region. The competition has ushered in a new era characterized by “fierce competition among countless participants, driving innovation in smart healthcare.”

It is reported that the competition attracted 685 teams and nearly 10,000 participants, with over 60% of the registered teams led by well-known tertiary hospitals in China. More than 100,000 viewers tuned in to the live broadcast, generating nearly one million media impressions across all platforms. A representative from the Fuzhou Data Technology Research Institute, the organizer of this year’s event, stated, “The 4th Smart Healthcare Innovation Competition was deeply integrated with the ‘Digital China Summit.’ Leveraging the influence of ‘Digital China,’ the number of registrations for this year’s competition increased by 50% compared to last year.”

Following review through stages including registration, preliminary screening, and regional finals, a total of 111 projects have been shortlisted for the National Grand Final. The list of shortlisted entries for the National Grand Final is hereby published as follows:
