Recently, Pinsheng Medical’s new-generation clinical mass spectrometer—the Qlife Lab 9000 Series Triple Quadrupole Mass Spectrometry System—officially received approval from the National Medical Products Administration (NMPA), obtained the “Medical Device Registration Certificate,” and was approved for market launch.

The Qlife Lab 9000 Series Mass Spectrometer is built on next-generation triple quadrupole liquid chromatography-mass spectrometry (LC-MS/MS) technology, featuring revolutionary innovations and designs tailored to clinical laboratory needs. It offers high sensitivity, excellent stability, and high throughput, while its significantly reduced footprint allows for flexible placement, making it suitable for a wider range of medical laboratories. With user-friendly operation and easy maintenance, the system aligns better with clinical laboratory workflows, optimizes end-to-end processes, significantly enhances laboratory efficiency, and shortens report turnaround times, providing a novel solution for precise clinical testing.

The Qlife Lab 9000 Series Mass Spectrometer boasts extensive applications. When used in conjunction with Pingsheng Medical’s diagnostic reagents, it can perform all mainstream tandem mass spectrometry tests, including newborn screening for inherited metabolic disorders, water-soluble and fat-soluble vitamins, therapeutic drug monitoring, steroid hormones, blood/urine catecholamines, amino acids, bile acids, free fatty acids, and organic acids. Furthermore, this product is suitable for targeted metabolomics and proteomics analysis, supporting research throughout the entire process of novel biomarker discovery, validation, and clinical translation.

Liquid Chromatography-Tandem Mass Spectrometry (LC-MS/MS) is a rapidly emerging technology in recent years. By combining the high separation efficiency of liquid chromatography with the high sensitivity and specificity of mass spectrometry, this technique is well-suited for the analysis of complex biological samples, particularly serving as the "gold standard" for the quantitative detection of small-molecule compounds in such samples. In recent years, LC-MS/MS has seen rapid development in clinical laboratory medicine, making it one of the most promising areas in the field of in vitro diagnostics.

Clinical mass spectrometry is one of the three major testing technologies in precision medicine and a core technology of national strategic importance. Pingsheng Medicine has been committed to developing China’s clinical mass spectrometry industry, promoting industry innovation, serving precision healthcare, and benefiting human health. The launch of the new-generation clinical mass spectrometer, Qlife Lab 9000, will empower precision medical testing, help more medical laboratories improve efficiency and reduce costs, and usher in a new era of precise clinical mass spectrometry testing in China.
