  【Pharmaceutical Network Industry DynamicsRecently, a large number of pharmaceutical companies both in China and abroad have been releasing their 2025 earnings forecasts. Notably, multinational pharmaceutical companies such as Johnson & Johnson and Roche, while disclosing their performance, are forecasting continued growth into 2026 based on solid financial results.
 
  Johnson & Johnson
 
On January 21, Johnson & Johnson announced its financial results for the fourth quarter and full year of 2025. Sales for the fourth quarter reached $24.564 billion, compared to $22.52 billion in the same period last year, representing a year-over-year increase of 9.1%. Of this, sales from the innovative pharmaceuticals business were $15.763 billion, while sales from the medical technology business were $8.801 billion. The quarterly net profit was $5.116 billion, up 49.1% from $3.431 billion in the same period last year.
 
For the whole year, the company's revenue reached 94.193 billion US dollars, increasing by 6% year-on-year, with a net profit of 26.804 billion US dollars, increasing by 90.6% year-on-year, and an adjusted net profit of 26.215 billion US dollars, increasing by 8.1% year-on-year. Among them, the revenue of innovative pharmaceuticals was 60.401 billion US dollars, increasing by 6% year-on-year, and the revenue of innovative medical technology was 33.792 billion US dollars, increasing by 6.1% year-on-year.
 
For the 2026 performance outlook, Johnson & Johnson stated that it expects full-year revenue to grow by 5.7%-6.7%, reaching $99.5 billion to $100.5 billion, with adjusted earnings per share projected at $11.43 to $11.63.
 
  Roche
 
On January 29, Roche released its 2025 financial report, with annual revenue of 61.516 billion Swiss francs (approximately 74.428 billion US dollars), representing a year-on-year increase of 7%; R&D investment reached 12.243 billion Swiss francs (approximately 14.813 billion US dollars), accounting for about 20% of total revenue, including pharmaceutical R&D investment of 10.399 billion Swiss francs (approximately 12.582 billion US dollars).
 
Roche's business mainly consists of two parts: pharmaceuticals and diagnostics. In 2025, its global pharmaceutical revenue reached 47.669 billion Swiss francs (approximately 57.675 billion U.S. dollars), increasing by 9% year-on-year, while the global diagnostics business revenue was 13.847 billion Swiss francs (approximately 16.753 billion U.S. dollars), up 2% year-on-year. Notably, the total revenue in China was 5.122 billion U.S. dollars, including pharmaceutical revenue of 3.034 billion Swiss francs (approximately 3.671 billion U.S. dollars), growing by 10% year-on-year, and diagnostic business revenue of 1.726 billion Swiss francs (approximately 2.088 billion U.S. dollars), decreasing by 24% year-on-year.
 
Based on robust financial performance, Roche expects that the company's profit growth rate will exceed its revenue growth rate in 2026. Adjusted earnings per share will achieve high single-digit growth at constant exchange rates.
 
  Sanofi
 
On January 29, Sanofi released its 2025 financial report. The company's total annual revenue reached 43.626 billion euros (approximately 50.781 billion US dollars), representing a year-on-year increase of 9.9%. The R&D investment was 7.842 billion euros (approximately 9.128 billion US dollars), marking a year-on-year increase of 8.8%.
 
The financial report mentioned that Sanofi's重磅 skin and asthma drug Dupixent showed strong sales performance, with sales reaching 15.714 billion euros (approximately 18.291 billion US dollars) in 2025, a year-on-year increase of 25.2%. Among this, the fourth-quarter sales reached a record-breaking 4.246 billion euros, marking a year-on-year growth of 32.2%.
 
Looking ahead, Sanofi expects sales to grow by a high single-digit percentage (at constant exchange rates) in 2026, with profit growth "slightly higher than revenue growth." Additionally, the company anticipates sustained profitable growth for at least the next five years.
