SAPA Health Investment Forum & Roadshow Goes Virtual in June: Dual Call for Projects and Investors

The COVID-19 pandemic has had a profound impact on the global socio-economic landscape, delivering a significant shock to the entire entrepreneurial ecosystem and venture capital sector. Nevertheless, within every crisis lies opportunity; the pharmaceutical and healthcare industry has bucked the trend, garnering substantial attention. The pandemic has also spurred industrial transformation, giving rise to new development opportunities.

Since 2018, the Sino-American Pharmaceutical Professionals Association (SAPA)’s flagship event—the 2020 SAPA Health Industry Investment Summit and Project Roadshow—has risen to prominence in the Greater New York area, earning widespread acclaim from investors and entrepreneurs. In response to evolving circumstances, the event has been redesigned into two components: an online segment and an in-person segment. The online component will feature keynote speeches and panel discussions on investment and entrepreneurship, a series of virtual roadshows, and one-on-one meetings. The first round of roadshows is scheduled for June 20, 2020. The in-person component will take place during the SAPA 2020 Annual Meeting in early October.

• Stay informed on the latest investment and R&D developments in biopharmaceuticals

• Engage and interact with top-tier investors

• Engage with investors across all stages, from angel rounds to Pre-IPO, and senior business development executives at major pharmaceutical companies to gain a comprehensive understanding of the entire investment lifecycle.

• One-on-one meetings between entrepreneurs and investors to fully present/evaluate projects and discuss financing interests

• In addition to securing investment, there may also be opportunities for out-licensing technologies and products

• Gain professional reviews and advice from senior pharmaceutical experts and investors in the SAPA community

• Exchange and share experiences and insights with peers

• Cultivate positive relationships to access a broader pool of potential talent and partnership resources

• Fully online event with no geographic restrictions, low-cost participation, and access to recorded sessions after the event

Project Registration Requirements:

Life sciences industry, including but not limited to: pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies; medical device, diagnostics, and digital health companies.

Each application will be carefully and rigorously reviewed by the Organizing Committee of the SAPA Investment Forum. The most outstanding projects will be invited to conduct online roadshows at the investment forum or to hold one-on-one online meetings with investors.
