Pan Jing currently serves as Chairman and CEO of Shanghai Timi. He previously held the positions of Marketing Manager and R&D Manager at National Instruments (NI). Over the past decade, he has led robotics-related product initiatives at renowned multinational corporations, securing 37 invention patents. He has spearheaded or participated in dozens of domestic and international robotics projects, including the da Vinci Surgical System, Boston Dynamics’ “BigDog,” and MIT’s “Cheetah” robot project. He currently holds several professional appointments, including Standing Committee Member of the Medical Engineering Branch of the Chinese Medical Association, Standing Committee Member of the Intelligent Equipment Branch of the China Medical Equipment Association, and External Project Mentor for the Robotics Program at Shanghai Jiao Tong University.
Founded Shanghai Timi Robot Technology Co., Ltd. in 2015, leveraging years of accumulation in the robotics field and extensive collaborations with leading robotics companies such as KUKA, MIT, and iRobot to build substantial technical and market expertise. From its inception, the company established clear product and target market positioning, enabling it to achieve industry positioning and product finalization within a short period. Consequently, it has garnered significant attention and recognition from numerous venture capital firms, securing investments from Guoke Jiahe, IDG, Ecovacs, Jinpu Investment, Pudong Sci-Tech Innovation, and Zhangjiang Hi-Tech Investment.
