The company is the first in China and the second globally to independently develop and successfully launchWalvax, the manufacturer of the 13-valent pneumococcal conjugate vaccine, has consistently maintained a leading market share in China since 2021, establishing a robust health barrier for vulnerable populations such as infants and young children. The company’s independently developed bivalent human papillomavirus (HPV) vaccine received World Health Organization (WHO) Prequalification (PQ) certification in August 2024, with its production management system meeting WHO GMP standards. Actively responding to the national “Action Plan for Accelerating the Elimination of Cervical Cancer (2023–2030),” Walvax continues to participate in government-sponsored procurement programs aimed at public benefit, thereby making high-cost-performance vaccine products accessible to a broader population.
