Fosun Pharmaceutical(600196/02196) announced that its holding subsidiary, Shanghai Henlius Biotech, Inc., signed a "License Agreement" with Eisai on February 5, 2026, granting Eisai the rights to develop, manufacture, and commercialize Serplulimab Injection in Japan for the field of oncology indications.

According to the agreement, Eisai is required to pay Shanghai Henlius Biotech, Inc. a non-refundable upfront payment and regulatory milestone payments totaling up to US$155 million, including an upfront payment of US$75 million and regulatory milestone payments of up to US$80.01 million. In addition, Eisai must also pay Shanghai Henlius Biotech, Inc. sales milestone payments of up to US$233 million and royalties based on the annual net sales of the licensed products.

The licensed product, Serplulimab Injection, is an innovative anti-PD-1 monoclonal antibody independently developed by the group. It has been approved for marketing in multiple countries and regions, with indications in China including various types of cancer.

In the first three quarters of 2025, Fosun Pharmaceutical achieved revenue of 29.393 billion yuan and a net profit attributable to parent company of 2.523 billion yuan.
