People's Finance News, February 5thFosun Pharmaceutical(600196) On February 5, Shanghai Fosun Pharmaceutical (Group) Co., Ltd. announced that its holding subsidiary, Shanghai Henlius Biotech, Inc., signed a "License Agreement" with Eisai Co., Ltd. Under the agreement, Eisai is granted the rights to develop, manufacture, and commercialize Serplulimab Injection within the licensed territory (i.e., Japan) and field (i.e., for oncology indications). According to the terms, Eisai shall pay Shanghai Henlius Biotech, Inc. an upfront fee and regulatory milestone payments of up to USD 155 million, which are non-refundable. Based on the annual net sales of the licensed product in the licensed territory, Eisai shall also make sales milestone payments to Shanghai Henlius Biotech, Inc. of up to USD 233 million as per the agreement.

Fosun Pharmaceutical announced on the same day that the drug marketing application for Fumaning® (generic name: Luvoxamine Mesylate Tablets), independently developed by its holding subsidiary Fosun Pharmaceutical Industry for the treatment of symptomatic, inoperable plexiform neurofibromas (PN) in adult patients with Neurofibromatosis Type 1 (NF1), has been accepted by the National Medical Products Administration (NMPA) and included in the priority review process. The drug registration application for Cyclophosphamide Injection from its holding subsidiary Fresenius Kabi AG (Wuhan) has also been accepted by the NMPA.
